Debate Club Taster Session

This is a course for people who love arguments. Not shouty, Eastendersy, “getoutofmypub” arguments, but arguments where you use all your powers of persuasion to make a case that wins over the hearts and minds of your listeners. Hosted by Jason Buckley, this taster session will allow budding speakers to gain in confidence and skill through exercises and speaking opportunities that include being a Joke Teller, Good Newscaster, Inspirer, Didyouknowist, Wordmonger or Mythologist, as well as formal debating and responding. 

Rather than having particular topics for each session, this 4-session block will develop to suit the participants.
