The Artists' Salon

Thursday 13th July 4.30 p.m. The commission for our second Artists' Salon is to produce a piece of art inspired by the word, "deception". It might be depicting an act of deception, or the painting itself may be somehow deceiving the reader - there's a long tradition of visual illusions, and ever since the discovery or perspective drawing, artists have been deceiving viewers into seeing a 3D world on a 2D plane. As always, you can use whatever medium you like - painting, drawing, sculpture, digital art; or even music or dance. No obligation to share your work but if you’d like to, bring it along and I can spotlight you, or you can email it in advance. If you come across any interesting artworks by other artists that are relevant to the theme, please bring links to them too.

Cancelation Policy

Classes or Courses can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the start time. We cannot refund for missed individual sessions within a course. Classes or courses cancelled by P4HE or GIFT will be refunded as soon as practically possible.
