Debate Club

This is a course for people who love arguments. Not shouty, Eastendersy, “getoutofmypub” arguments, but arguments where you use all your powers of persuasion to make a case that wins over the hearts and minds of your listeners. Hosted by Sophie Collins, these sessions will allow budding speakers to gain in confidence and skill through exercises and speaking opportunities from telling a tall tale to formal debating and responding. Rather than having particular topics for each session, this 4-session block will develop to suit the participants.
