You'll love Debate Club if you enjoy arguments, and it's a great way to develop your confidence and skill as a speaker through roles such as "Didyouknowist", "Wordmonger" and "Mythologist". Thursdays at 13.00 for age 9-12 and 14.30 for teens. Time zone is GMT

You'll love our debates if you love arguments. Not shouty, Eastendersy, “getoutofmypub” arguments, but arguments where you use all your powers of persuasion to make a case that wins over the hearts and minds of your listeners.
But there's so much more to this club than just debating. Budding speakers will gain in confidence and skill through exercises and speaking opportunities that include being a Joker, Good Newscaster, Inspirer, Didyouknowist, Wordmonger or Mythologist, as well as formal debating and responding. Hosted by Jason Buckley, these sessions are great fun as well as providing rapid development of a whole range of skills.
